Email style in automation rules: Plain text vs Default emails

When you create an automation rule in NeetoCal with the “Send email” action, you can now choose the style of the email you want to send, Plain text or Default.
This gives you more control over how your automated messages appear to your recipients.

Default emails

Default emails are sent using NeetoCal’s standard email layout and styling.
They include NeetoCal’s logo, colors, and footer details, ensuring that your communication looks professional and consistent.

Example:

  • Header with NeetoCal logo and background color.

  • Structured body text with clean typography.

  • Footer with “Powered by NeetoCal” or your workspace name (if customized).

Use this option when:

  • You want your messages to look polished and brand-aligned.

  • The automation email is customer-facing (e.g., meeting confirmation, follow-up after booking).

Plain text emails

Plain text emails are simple, minimal emails that look like you typed them directly from your own inbox. They contain no branding, colors, or logos, just clean text.

Example:

Hi Sarah,
It was great speaking with you today.
Let’s me know your feedback about your first session with Sia.

Cheers.
Andy

Use this option when:

  • You want your email to feel more personal.

  • You’re sending follow-ups or reminder emails that don’t require a formal layout.

  • You want higher deliverability, plain text emails often avoid spam filters better.
