NeetoCal supports Google, Outlook, and iCloud calendars. Once these calendars are connected, NeetoCal syncs with your calendar so it stays up to date. NeetoCal attempts to stay up to date using the following mechanisms.
Automatic syncing
Whenever an event is created or updated in your Google or Outlook calendar, NeetoCal is notified. NeetoCal then automatically syncs your calendar events. iCloud does not send automatic notifications to NeetoCal, so changes made in iCloud appear in NeetoCal after the next periodic sync.
Periodic syncing
NeetoCal also performs syncs at fixed intervals. Sometimes Google/Outlook fails to notify NeetoCal when an event is created or updated. To prevent event mismatches, NeetoCal syncs periodically. How often this happens depends on the calendar:
iCloud calendars are synced every 5 minutes.
Outlook calendars are synced every hour
Google calendars are synced every 3 hours.
Manual syncing
You can manually sync your calendar at any time.
Go to Host tab.
Click on Self.
Under Calendar integrations, select the calendar (Google, Outlook, or iCloud) you want to sync.
Click Manage.
Click Sync next to the calendar account you want to sync.
If the latest changes don’t appear, try disconnecting and reconnecting the calendar.
