Refunding a payment

You (Admin) can configure the refund rules to automatically process a payment refund when your client cancels a booking. You also have the option to refund the payment when you cancel the client's booking or even without cancelling it.

Here are the steps mentioned below to configure refund rules:

  1. Click on the meeting link for which you want to configure refund rules.

  2. Click on the Configure tab.

  3. Click on the Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund card.

  4. Enable Meeting cancellation & rescheduling.

  5. Click on the Add refund rule.

  6. Set the refund percentage according to the cancellation time.

  7. To add more rules, click Add refund rule again.

  8. Click on Save changes.

Here are the steps to issue a refund when you cancel a booking:

  1. From the Sidebar, click on Bookings.

  2. Click on the booking you wish to cancel.

  3. Click the Cancel button and check the Refund option.

  4. Select a refund percentage from the drop-down menu.

  5. To refund a custom amount, select Custom from the dropdown and enter the desired amount.

  6. Click on the Yes, cancel the meeting.

Here are the steps to refund payment without cancelling the booking:

  1. From the Sidebar, click on Bookings.

  2. Click on the booking you wish to cancel.

  3. Click on the (…) triple dots.

  4. Choose the Refund option.

  5. Select a refund percentage from the drop-down menu.

  6. To refund a custom amount, select Custom from the dropdown and enter the desired amount.

  7. Click on Save changes.
