These days, we’re constantly jumping from one meeting to another. And let’s be honest — sometimes you hop on a call and can’t even remember why it was scheduled. Was it a LinkedIn conversation from three weeks ago? A customer support issue? Who knows.
That’s where Refid comes in.
Refid lets you add quick context to a meeting — just a short note to remind you (and others) what it’s all about. Create a Refid, attach it to your scheduling link, and never join a call clueless again.
How it works
-
Create a RefID
Go to your My Preferences.
Click on RefID card.
Click on Create new RefID.
Add any information or link in the text area, for example, a Twitter thread, a Slack message, or a support ticket.
Save changes, and NeetoCal will auto-generate a unique RefId number. (e.g.,
gyf6yug
,uf65sgg
, etc.).
-
Share your scheduling link with RefID
Your regular scheduling link is like:
https://your-workspace.neetocal.com/meet
Add the RefID as a URL parameter:
https://your-workspace.neetocal.com/meet?refid=gyf6yug
-
Client books a meeting
When your client uses that link to schedule a meeting, the RefID is automatically attached to the booking.
Now, when you view client's upcoming meeting, NeetoCal shows the RefID information that you added, in the Notes section.
This gives you instant recall of where the person came from and why they're booking, so you're always prepared.
