The Send email action in an automation rule can send emails in NeetoCal's standard style or as plain text. This article explains the difference and how to choose between them.
Standard emails
A standard email uses NeetoCal's email layout and styling, with your message inside it and a "Powered by NeetoCal" line at the bottom. This is the same layout NeetoCal uses for its booking emails, so an automation email in this style matches the confirmation email the customer already received.
Plain text emails
A plain text email contains only your message, without any layout or styling. It looks like an email typed in a regular inbox.
The only addition is a "Powered by NeetoCal" line at the end. This line is omitted when NeetoCal branding is hidden for your workspace.
Some people prefer this style for short follow-ups and reminders because it reads more like a personal note than an automated email.
Example:
Hi Sarah,
It was great speaking with you today.
Let me know your feedback about your first session with Sia.
Cheers,
Andy
