Category-based pricing lets you charge different prices for different types of spots in a group booking link.
For example, if you run a walking tour, you can charge one price for adults and another price for children. If you run an event, you can create categories such as Golden seat, Regular seat, or Standing.
When to use category-based pricing.
Use category-based pricing when the same time slot has different prices for different types of attendees or spots.
Examples:
Adult and child pricing for a walking tour.
Golden seat and standing ticket for a concert.
Member and non-member pricing for a workshop.
Student and professional pricing for a training session.

Category fields.
Each category has a name, a price, and a Counts toward capacity option.
Name is what clients see on the booking page, such as Adult, Child, Golden seat, or Standing.
Price is the amount for that category. At least one category must be paid.
Counts toward capacity decides whether a booking in that category uses up a spot. Paid categories always count and cannot be changed. Only a free category, such as an infant on a lap, can be set to not use up a spot.
What clients see when booking.
Clients see the question How many spots would you like to book? followed by a selector for each category with its price. The total updates automatically as they choose quantities.
If multiple-spot booking is off, a client can pick only one paid spot. If it is on, they can mix categories in one booking, for example 2 Adults, 1 Child, and 1 free Infant, as long as at least one paid spot is included.
How categories appear after booking.
Each booking records a payment breakdown of the categories chosen, such as Adult × 2, Child × 1. This shows you exactly who a booking is for and what was charged, without opening the payment details.
The breakdown appears on the booking details, the confirmation page, host and client emails, exports, and the Google Sheets integration, so you can track your attendee mix wherever you already read bookings.
